The United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) and the Politecnico di Torino signed today a Memorandum of Understanding to guide cooperation between the two institutions and join efforts in the creation and dissemination of knowledge. The overall objective of the agreement is to develop joint research projects and promote sharing of expertise in areas of mutual interest, as well as to jointly design internationally competitive training and learning activities.
“This partnership strengthens UNSSC’s commitment to look for innovative solutions to address today’s increasingly complex challenges. We are proud to collaborate with the Politecnico di Torino, which is among Europe’s leading universities for engineering, computer science, technology and architecture. Thanks to this collaboration, we will build on complementary competences and develop new learning solutions that can lead to a significant and lasting change”, says Jafar Javan, Director of UNSSC.
“The United Nations System Staff College represents an international wide-ranging reality in Turin, precisely focused on training issues. I am confident that our collaboration will strengthen the existing relationships and create new ones, by exchanging international professors and participating to joint research projects” comments Politecnico di Torino’s Rector, Guido Saracco.
